The nearby market town of Kingsbridge and the resorts of Dartmouth and Salcombe are nearby. Detached and standing in its own 2 acre grounds the barn is nestled in the tiny hamlet of Huccombe in the rolling South Hams hills less than a mile from many beautiful beaches and the South Devon coastal path. It is an ideal base to explore the most Southerly part of Devon which is designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.  The house is well equipped and aims to provide a home from home for holidaymakers. South Barn offers a fantastic base for a holiday in a quiet rural hamlet yet within easy reach of nearby towns.

We are happy to offer advice about the area prior to your visit and we like to provide a personal touch by greeting our guests when they arrive and providing welcome gifts. We can also provide information about local attractions, restaurants or pubs, babysitters, chefs, local supermarket deliveries, golf courses, sailing, surfing, fishing, activities for children and anything else you might need to help you plan your holiday. We want to help you make your holiday a real success so we send you our insider guide to the local area before you visit.

South Barn is ideal for a large family group and we often have guests who are celebrating a big birthday or other special family event.
